| Studied in a Business School: Institut Supérieur du Commerce de Paris (ISCP) from which I graduated in 1989. | |
| Worked as a Management Accountant (my first trade) in an SME in the Food industry just outside Paris | |
| Moved to Ireland late in 1989. Studied for an MBS in Management Information Systems at UCC | |
| Did my military service in Germany (near Stuttgart) in 1990 - 1991. | |
| Came back to Ireland and worked in a research centre at University College Cork. | |
| From 1993, College Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Information Systems. | |

Director of the MBS in Management Information and Managerial Accounting Systems (1998 - 2003) . |

Awarded dual PhD by National University of Ireland and Université Paris 6 (Jussieu, Paris, France ) under supervision of Prof. Jean-Charles Pomerol (Université Paris 6) and Prof. Ciaran Murphy (UCC) in 1999. |
